What is the Trezor Hardware Wallet®?

The Trezor Hardware Wallet® is a physical device designed to store cryptocurrency private keys offline. It signs transactions on the device so that private keys never touch your computer or the internet. The device is used together with the Trezor Suite App (desktop/web) and, in some browser setups, Trezor Bridge.

Official setup

Always begin at the official page: trezor.io/start. From there download the Trezor Suite (see Trezor Suite Download) or follow the web setup instructions. If the browser prompts, use the official Trezor Bridge Download to enable communication.

Daily use & login

"Trezor Login" refers to connecting your Trezor® device and entering your PIN inside Trezor Suite or the web interface. Always verify addresses and amounts on the device display before confirming any transaction — the device is your final authority.

Troubleshooting common issues

If you encounter Trezor Login not working or are Unable to login Trezor, try these steps: switch USB cable and port, restart your computer, install/update Trezor Suite and Trezor Bridge, use the desktop Suite if the web version fails, and ensure firmware is up to date.

Errors & connectivity

Error Connecting Trezor Account can come from blocked browser permissions, outdated Bridge, or conflicting wallet software. Trezor Suite App not Working often resolves after reinstalling the app, clearing browser cache, or trying another machine. If you Can't verify Trezor Wallet, do not proceed until prompts on the device match the expected transaction.

Recovery & 2FA

If the device is lost or damaged, use your recovery seed phrase to restore accounts on another Trezor® or compatible recovery tool — never enter this seed on unknown sites. Trezor® relies on seed + PIN for device security; "Trezor 2fa reset" typically refers to resetting two-factor authentication on third-party services you use alongside the wallet.
